I'm delighted to have you here!

As an environmental educator and animal trainer, I have had the privilege of close encounters with wildlife that the average person usually only sees at a distance. Such experiences have inspired me to share these incredible creatures and scenery through my art and photography.

I have utilized my artistic skills with various organizations - painting murals and signs, designing t-shirts, illustrating posters and logos, and photographing animal ambassadors. In the early 2000s, I created my unique drawing style, “single line drawing:” As I draw my line, I hide various animals, words, or thematic subjects within the shapes and curves of the line. Sometimes the line traverses the entire page, and other times, it creates a recognizable silhouette; either way, everything is connected within the piece.

While I take the majority of my photographs with a Canon Digital Camera, in 2024 I challenged myself to also build my skills with my cellphone camera, since it is the camera that I always have on hand. To do this I began taking a photo every week for a year, following the themes in 52 Frames. Since then, I have continued with these photography challenges as often as possible.
